About the Event

In preparation for our Lupus Month! Marlene’s Kaleidoscope invites you to join us at our “Cocktails and Conversation” where we will kick off our celebration. Come out and help us celebrate Lupus Awareness Month. Living with this illness can be very difficult. Systemic Lupus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that is unpredictable and a mystery disease. Lupus is a pervasive and severe disease and has a devastating impact. It takes 3 to 7 year for a diagnosis. Research shows that a staggering two-thirds of the public knows little or nothing about Lupus. So, we are trying to change that!

This will be a precursor to our POP – (Put on Purple), The JC Nichols Memorial Fountain purple and the release of the butterflies to hour Lupus Awareness Day May 10, 2019. Join us for a fun and inspiring evening that raises awareness about lupus. Let's get the Conversation started.

There will be raffles with prizes from many local businesses that you won’t want to miss. Tickets include appetizers and live music by Misha Roberts.

Please email us at kbutterflies2017@gmail.com to become a sponsor, partner and or silent auction item donor.
