Standing for education, early diagnosis, and a cure. Marlene’s Kaleidoscope is here to support those without a voice. We want to advocate for those who are suffering from lupus and ensure that they have an opportunity to continue to reach their goals and share their story!

We are proud to sponsor a high school senior and/or undergraduate college student who suffers or has a direct loved one affected with a lupus scholarship up to $1000. Applicants must complete an application and a brief essay (500 words or less). This scholarship will be awarded directly to the institution of a full-time enrolled undergraduate student who meets the below requirements:

• Applicant must provide proof of PRIMARY residency in the Greater Kansas City MO/ Kanas City KS area

• Applicant must be attending a four-year college, university or trade school and provide confirmation of matriculation from the college or trade school. MUST BE AN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT.

• Applicant must present a letter from his/her physician confirming a diagnosis of Lupus.

• Applicant must be working toward a degree with a minimum of nine credits per semester and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

• The scholarship will be made on an annual basis to one or two recipient. Previous recipients may not reapply.

• The scholarship will be sent directly to the college or university and may be used for tuition, room and board, books and fees.

• Deadline is April 30th of each year.
